Note to self, update this more. I have a full set of Monster High basic dolls, and beach Jackson, all 3 Mattel ethnic skin tones, a set of Alice in Wonderland Livs for skin tones, a Harley body Ken, and a to-do list for the site a mile long. The Triad Omega and Animae Champlo are here, the Ignite is here. What's been holding everything up is we may be moving house this summer, will know within a few weeks, and if we don't then I can get down to reshooting the dolls and starting the work I need to do in earnest. Change on the dollhouse an miniatures book page, update on what the Resix book it. I have a Triad Omega but non doll business is coming first.
Starting to get an idea of what updates will be needed for 2011. So far I've added Blythe, 10 Disney Princesses, and 5 princes to the family. So that's adding to the Hasbro and Mattel pages. The music page will be redone as I have another box of guitars coming in including Jimmy Page's Mistress and a Gibson SG for Pete. Realized the other guitars weren't photographed all that well so I should do them some justice. Probably shoot some more Re Ment too.
Ended up getting a Liv, she came with drums, so a new Encyclopedia page is coming.
Getting started on a revamp and hopefully faster loading version of the Encyclopedia and the rest of the mess to be ready by 2011 and the CCBJD I've been invited to. As with anything dealing with a crap load of images it will take awhile to figure out. Gonna split the pages a bit more and offer text links to specific dolls and add more dolls who don't have motion tests but something to offer. I might keep the Triad page so I don't have to program a new pull down menu. As always the pages will only be down for a short amount of time while I load the new version and I will try to make sure there aren't any dead links but then again it's just me doing all this inbetween everything else.
Starting to sell off some of my doll books, and others, just to cut down, so if you see something you're interested in or don't see something drop me a line at TheDolls(at)DolfieLittles(dot)com Everything from Japanese dollhouse stuff to a copy of the book Zeppelin chose their Zoso symbols from, but mostly craft books. So it's a lot of not doll stuff right now. Decided to skip on the Triads, after this long I no longer want them all that much. Kind of trying to not add more little peoples, unless they're super important, as I'm running out of room for them. I only plan a resin girl for my mini family but I have a not doll project that's requiring money and attention.
FInished a second book, this one has full size patterns in it. Still working a bit on doll projects, the second book took awhile. Got Doctor Who action figures to remind me I haven't done anything with that page. Meh, it's getting close enough to the annual revamp any way. More detailed day to day goings on in the blog.
Yeah, it's been a long time. If you follow the blog you'll see I've been busy. Roger got finished, we're in discussion especially since he broke his arms, and I worked on and kind of stopped working on a LaDoll Premiere clay doll. Did a lot of work on my pattern drafting book which is finally ready to sell, and working on ready to go patterns. New action figures coming in so it may cause me to deal with the old ones I have, and lots of non or kind of doll work going on.
I'm still trying o figure if there's some sort of template I can design to give the website a better look but as things go designing a lay out is beyond my realm of understanding at the moment. So everything is going to stay as it is for the moment. The Encyclopedia works and that's the main thing.
Updated the book and head page with he last of the Jenny and Licca books and new Led Zeppelin and The Who dolls. Working on more updates. Really need to figure out what to do with the index. No word what so ever on the Triads.
Doing a lot of work that will end up on the site, making a centaur and reworking a lot of heads, but you'd know if you follow the blog. Waiting for 1 more Licca book to come in. Getting it all together so I can do it all at once in a day or so instead of a bit here and a bit there. I think I'll do 'seasonal' updates unless there's something like a new doll.
Updated the Mattel page with the Fashionista knees.
Been awhile, was trying to make a doll, and learning all the while, and getting to non doll related things. I hope to get to some updates soon, there appears to be two different knees for the Barbie Fashionista but no difference in movement, and I've managed to get all but one Jenny of Licca book! Just missing Jenny #6. I've taken up the hammered dulcimer for my peace of mind and fighting a cold. So if I don't get anything done this month I have a viral excuse.
Catching a few oopsises then taking a day or two off from the site to collect myself. Most everything on the doll end is up and running.

Finished a lot of pictures, all by myself as usual, waiting for my Adobe to come, and making a list of all the new dolls to add. I feel like asking the house how many of them are now discontinued, most if not all of the Volks, but hopefully not the darling Juku Couture gals. So that's them, a new style Barbie, a repackaged 1999 Ken, and the Obitsu gals and minis to do. I'm adding other size dolls to the encyclopedia too. Now that the Holiday madness is over I can devote more time to the dolls.
All the Obitsus are in and hybrids are made, Fashionista Ken (on a 1999 body) is in, new clothes, new Re Ment. I'm taking lots of pictures and face palming because the switch to Mac doesn't include my old photo editor Paint Shop Pro. (can't figure out Gimp, please don't recommend any) So I'm getting Adobe Elements for the holiday and plan to start the revamp in January. Will be doing new what clothes fit for the dolls pics and called for outside help with pics for the new Re Ment page.
In the future I may add pictures of other peoples' dolls for comparison, as mine meet them, but all motion tests, will it fit pics, and body comparisons will be just my dolls so I can answer questions as best as possible.
Yeah, I'm procrastinating on adding the new Barbie, too many non doll things going on right now to do pictures. Trying to figure out what's going on with Volks, if I want to cancel my Triad order, and if I want to jump on a promotion with the ball joints. Need to get to them too.
Finally got to the Puppet Up pages, one is family friendly and the other not so but more pictures etc. You may need to refresh as some pages have changed around.
Mmkay, will be adding a 100 poses Fashionista Barbie to the Mattel page and sending out a search party to look for the Triads. Any other planned work to the Encyclopedia would be additions to existing pages, books and making a separate page for the Re Ment come to mind. Going to fix the way the pages are laid out in the library. Getting the hang of the Mac and will try to fit the rest of the needed work in somewhere as I'm still at the mercy of a text editor.
Will be switching OS and computers and hoping to have a useful site building tool so I can get some uniformity to the site. In the meantime it will stay as it is, the pages were coded by hand and should transfer. Just got another Licca book, #9 with great uniforms and tiny sized patterns. Fingers crossed for more. Lost the 1/6 scale TARDIS to the cat, cat+box=splat, but kept the how too pics. Still no word on the Triads.
I am passing on dolls called Liv Girls. Peer reviews have been good so don't hesitate to buy at a reasonable price, I'm just not that in to girl dolls. Hopes for the winter involve dollhouse projects and catching up on sewing. Unless real life gets in the way.
Got to some of the odds and ends, adding the Barrack Sergeant to the group shots and a few font and picture problems. Poor Marlow has lost his body again as I've decided to put the Medicom Spidey head on the Barrack Sergeant body. Will post changing Neo Goh feet soon, a process which earned Heath a new body. Still waiting on those #$%! Triads.
I have a to-do list for the site but real life and another site might need attention first. The ranks of the PTE have swollen to all avalible individual figures, thinking about a major expansion to the clothes part, no idea how to do the dollhouse and bios yet. Just not enough time in the day for dolls right now. :(
Updates to the accessory page and ABJs page, will eventually re do that too, going to start on the dollhouse section soon, work on the clothes page, more pictures to Rian's trip to Puppet Up, and how to change the neck on a Gamitoy.
Ordered a replacement Gameitoy to give that line another chance, a Barrack Sergeant body, and another Dragon which may or may not be a different body from those I already have. If he's different he'll go on the page.
Re did the book page, slowly getting to the rest of the site.
Summer tune up is beginning, added new place holder pages for new encyclopedia entries, did away with some other pages to make way for new ones. Have lots of pictures to go through and most every page to update adding who's who pics. Need to completely re do the ABJs page as that branch of the family keeps expanding. Trying to figure out what to do with the head making page. Wondering about doing away with the Julian biography all together. Still no word on the Triads.
No news yet on when the Triads will arrive outside of 2nd quarter 2009. Still working to get everything together for the clothing page, which means recoding all the other pages to add it to the menu and tweaking a few things like not having them all named Skeleton :P and looking in to changing the non doll parts. Going to rework the accessories page, all the guitars are in, and add to the books and put in a section for non doll crafting books and books with dolls in them in more ways than one!
New camera means new pictures! First the updated Gamitoy and Ertl pages and soon what all the dolls, or most of them, look like clothed. Somehow I got all 13 PTE guys back in the uniforms thay came with, helpful so you know who I have and you can look for them. I'll be adding a clothing page to the encyclopedia to show off some of the uniforms I have and revamping the accessories page with better pics. Having Beatles and Bee Gees I had to order a few more guitars! Keep checking back!
Boy did that month get away from me. Was going to shoot some more pictures for the site but got in to working on the heads. Improving the Beatles and Bee Gees sculpts, expiramenting with mold making, riding the failtrain in some of those aspects. Did get more of the 13, maybe 14 now, PTE guys named, and did a great new camera. I plan to do portraits of everyone, get to the missing encyclopedia pics, re do the dollhouse side and add a doll making page, and add some who's who to the encyclopedia pages, snazz up the ABJs page...
Added Rian's trip to Puppet Up where he got to meet his muse Brian Henson.
Updated the Books page in the Encyclopedia with pictures. Pictures of the repaired Gameitoy and Ertl body soon.
New site up and running. Working on the Ertl and Kenner pages, sending a couple of dolls to the Apoxie Sculpt hospital including the Gameitoy.
Bad news for my Medicom, his arms fell off. The True Type has done well.
Preparing to overhaul the Little Encyclopedia with more poses and newer better pictures. Expecting a Hot Toys True Type addition to the family and some recent photo stories have revealed some neglected helpful poses. Wanting to give a new and better design to everything as I get better at web design.
Major update to the Gameitoy page. As Dr Gibb fell to pieces literally I can no longer reccomend these bodies. Their heads are still interesting, Dr Gibb continues on a DML body.

Major overhaul on the site, added more entries to the Little Encyclopedia and added the Sideshow figures
Added info on clothes to the Cloths Horse section, new Gallery page while working on the new show.
Added measurements and pattern info to the Clothes Horse section of the dollhouse and a new size comparison pic to the encyclopedia
Added Jude Law and Tom Welling to the Customs page in the dollhouse. Look under repainted heads with the Johnny Depp pic.
